  • Post saying there’s still time to participate

  • Post your non-spoiler reactions to Chapters 1&2 activity (as text or video) or give them to us to share

  • Perhaps mention the topic of stuttering or other speech impediments that can be embarrassing for kids or even adults. Even Xerena’s back brace caused her embarrassment, as it limited her mobility. What does limited mobility do to a person’s confidence?

  • Ask questions & share your ideas during our weekly Q&A call on Wednesday at 8:11am PT / 11:11am ET via Google Meet

  • Share your thoughts in our private Facebook group

Week T+2: Sept 30 - Oct 06

  • Post about what you’re getting out of participation and give your non-spoiler reactions to Chapters 3&4 activity via written post or video

  • Post a “life” question that can be answered by chapters available. Example:We’ve all witnessed other people being treated badly. Lots of times we don’t know what to do, so we do nothing! Post your thoughts on this

  • Also, Xerena had wished some not-so-nice situations would happen to Kadra. Instead, they happened to Xerena! What can we learn from such experiences? (Example: Xerena’s skirt getting caught in her knickers)

  • Ask questions & share your ideas during our weekly Q&A call on Wednesday at 8:11am PT / 11:11am ET via Google Meet

  • Share your thoughts in our private Facebook group

Week T+3: Oct 07-13

  • Post about what you’re getting out of participation and give your non-spoiler reactions to Chapters 5&6 activity via written post or video

  • Post a “life” question that can be answered by chapters available. Example: we’ve all had a mortifying haircut at one time or another (just as Xerena did.) What can people do to survive the “waiting period” while the hair grows out? Got any photos of your bad haircut to share?

  • Another cringey situation (that Xerena experienced) is when you cause an accident, like if you knock over someone’s wedding cake. (In Xerena’s case, she knocked over actual people!) What can or should you do when you’re the cause of a catastrophe?

  • Ask questions & share your ideas during our weekly Q&A call on Wednesday at 8:11am PT / 11:11am ET via Google Meet

  • Share your thoughts in our private Facebook group

Week T+4: Oct 14-20

  • Post about what you’re getting out of participation and give your non-spoiler reactions to Chapters 7&8 activity via written post or video

  • Post a “life” question that can be answered by chapters available. Example: Xerena thought she was doing “the right thing” by showcasing Kadra’s bad behavior, so that Kadra could be made aware of the damage she was doing. Xerena was “telling it like it is” which is something many people feel is the right thing to do. But is it the kindest, most helpful thing to do? In Xerena’s story, it was not

  • For Xerena, a “switch flipped” in her thinking, and she realized how she could go about things differently, in a more positive and productive way. Have you ever had that sort of experience? If so, share it, as well as what came of it

  • Ask questions & share your ideas during our weekly Q&A call on Wednesday at 8:11am PT / 11:11am ET via Google Meet

  • Share your thoughts in our private Facebook group

Week T+5: Oct 21-27

  • Post about what you’re getting out of participation and give your non-spoiler reactions to Chapters 9&10 activity via written post or video

  • Post a “life” question that can be answered by chapters available. Example: Once Xerena got an idea of how she could spark positive change, she took action on her idea. How can we do the same?

  • Did you grow in any way by reading the entire story? If so, how? Please share your thoughts on social media

  • Ask questions & share your ideas during our weekly Q&A call on Wednesday at 8:11am PT / 11:11am ET via Google Meet

  • Share your thoughts in our private Facebook group

Week T+6: Oct 28 - Nov 03

  • Share your thoughts in our private Facebook group
